Biography

Ron was born in Marshall, Texas, on May 29, 1957. After obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington, Ron went to work for the Executive Office of the President during the Carter Administration. Ron returned to school, obtained a Master of Professional Accounting with a concentration in tax from the University of Texas at Arlington and went to work at a mid-sized public accounting firm in the tax field. Ron worked in the tax field while attending law school at night at the University of Houston. Ron graduated cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 1988 and began working for the famed Richard “Racehorse” Haynes. Ron left Haynes’ firm after approximately eight years to practice personal injury law.

In 2004, Ron and Christopher Tritico, a lawyer Ron had worked with for years at Haynes’ firm, once again began practicing together. In 2011, Ron and Chris formed Tritico Rainey PLLC. Ron has obtained seven and eight figure verdicts, settlements and/or judgments. Ron is a member of numerous organizations including the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates, American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and the Top 100 National Trial Attorneys. Ron is admitted to practice in the Texas State Courts, the Federal District Courts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ron is married and has two wonderful daughters.
