A 41-year-old Texas man passed away unexpectedly after being misdiagnosed during multiple hospital visits. Although doctors diagnosed him with bronchitis, a medical examiner determined that the man died as a result of influenza and pneumonia. He is survived by a wife and six children and had been planning on becoming a minister.
A Texas man was taken into custody on multiple felony drunk driving charges on Dec. 27 following a three-vehicle crash in which two people died. Four other people in both of the cars struck by the man's vehicle were hospitalized with serious injuries.

On Dec. 3, a fatal incident was reported in Texas that indicated that a 25-year-old construction worker lost his life when he fell from a construction site on the north side of the A & M University Kyle Field. The A& M University Kyle Field is the main ground for the university's football games and is going through a reconstruction process.
