Wrong-way crash in Lubbock kills Houston singer

The Houston performing arts community is in mourning following a fatal accident that claimed the life of a 27-year-old female singer Aug. 12. The victim was one of two members of the Houston performing arts community who perished that day from injuries sustained in unrelated car accidents. The circumstances of the Aug. 12 crash that ended this young woman's life suggest that her family and a survivor of the collision could be entitled to legal redress in civil court.

Houston artist dies following hit-and-run crash

Houston police are searching for a hit-and-run driver following a fatal accident on Aug. 11 that claimed the life of a Houston artist. Authorities say the 33-year-old man was killed when a black Ford Fusion struck his motorcycle.

Schertz truck accident kills 3

In the early morning hours of July 31, a woman in Schertz, Texas, reportedly drove the wrong way on Interstate 35 and crashed into a van carrying a family of five. Initially, no parties were seriously injured, and the wrong-way driver exited her vehicle after the crash.
