Lead vocalist of North Texas cover band killed in fatal accident

Auto accidents can have devastating consequences. Those who are involved in a serious car accident may sustain debilitating injuries that can undermine their quality of life, or they may even be killed. Such misfortune is difficult to accept, especially if the injured party is not the one at fault.

One of the lead vocalists of a cover band called The Enablers was killed in a rollover accident that occurred near Burleson, Texas, on Jan. 2. It was discovered that she was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident and that she might have been texting while driving.

The 26-year-old singer performed with her band at a bar called Point After North on New Year's Eve and participated in the DFW Talent Search Competition in Burleson the following night. The young woman's band reached the third round of the competition. Upon receiving news of her death, her friends shared memories of her over the Internet.

Losing a loved one to an auto accident is always traumatic and often results in long-term psychological and emotional distress for friends and family members. Although there is nothing that can be done to reverse the misfortune, family members of the victim of a fatal car accident can seek compensation to take care of all the expenses that may result from the accident, such as medical bills and funeral costs.
